Romantic Dinner #14
Tomato Soup
Chicken Baked on Jar
Take out of the fridge and kitchen cabinet the products you will need: chicken, olive oil, salt and pepper, karri, tomatoes (2 per person), onions (1 per 2 people), fresh basil, garlic, cheese, cream, flour, mineral water or juice (3 min)
Switch on the oven (1 min)
Wash the chicken, spread some salt, pepper and karri on it and inside it (2 min)
Take a glass jar and put water, some pepper and basil there, then put the chicken on a jar so that it “sits” on it, cover it with foil and put it into the oven (2 min).
Put a saucepan over medium heat, peel and dice onions, then saute onions in olive oil, stirring occasionally until they get brown (5 min)
Wash the tomatoes and cut them into quarters, then add them into a saucepan and stur occasionally so that they don’t scorch, until the tomatoes become soft (10 min)
Puree soup in blender, then strain it through a sieve, add some salt and pepper and put it on fire. Add some flour and cream, stir (5 min)
Grate the cheese into a small bowl and cut some fresh basil (2 min)
Just before serving the soup add fresh basil into the tureen.
Lay the table, putting the tablecloth, crockery, cutlery, dish with steaks, glasses, dish for the spinach (3 min)
Have some rest until the chicken is ready (15-20 min)
Try the chicken with a fork, if it became soft, then put the foil aside and let it become crispy for 5 more minutes
Time needed: 33 minutes of cooking plus 15-25 minutes break for rest while the chicken gets baked
